Positive Parenting workshop at Jacaranda Tree Montessori

We have a great new course to offer you before the summer break. Jailan Heidar from Early Years Parenting will be presenting a workshop on Positive Parenting.
I went to her first workshop in Amsterdam and thought Jailan has to come and give workshops at Jacaranda Tree Montessori. And she agreed to come and do an introductory course for us. It complements the How2Talk2Kids courses that we run, reminds you of the principles, and gives you clear tools to apply positive parenting at home.

This is an introductory workshop to positive parenting for parents of young children under the age of 5 years, following the work of Positive Discipline by Jane Nelsen. Positive parenting focuses on mutual respect between parents and child as well as helping families avoid conflict and increase peace and harmony at home.
The workshop is filled with fun and dynamic experiential activities that help parents understand some of the basic principles of positive parenting. Parents will walk away with some practical positive tools which they can start implementing right away.
Date: Saturday 22 June, 10:00am – 12:00 noon
Place: Jacaranda Tree Montessori, Derde Schinkelstraat 33A, 1075TK  Amsterdam
Cost: €15 per person, €20 per couple incl. BTW

Note: this course is for parents only, no childcare services are available
Please note that space is limited to 12 parents, first in first served. If there is enough demand, we will look at running an afternoon session on the same day. If you would prefer to attend the afternoon session, please let Jailan know.

Surprise is revealed

In the May school holidays I hinted that we had been working on a little surprise.

Now it is time to reveal what we were up to!

A couple of children came to class, my husband brought a camera to film them, and this is what he came up with. Thanks Luke. I love it.
