My favourite kids’ backpacks & bags

The sun is shining. Let’s get exploring!
Once your child is walking they love to carry their own things in a small backpack or suitcase. I have had fun making a selection of the best ones for you.
Things to look for:
1. Adjustable straps so the bag can grow with your child
2. Backpacks are great as it frees their hands to hold your hand (and leave the other free to pick up a flower, stick, or other interesting item)
3. The smaller the better
4. Let them pack it themselves – depending on where you are heading perhaps they want to bring a small pencilcase with crayons, notebook, magnifying glass, insect catcher, small water bottle or a change of clothes
5. That said, never overfill the backpack – keep it light for these growing spines.
So here are some of my favourite backpacks for toddlers and preschoolers. These bags are also perfect to bring to class!
We would love to hear your favourites too. Jump over to our Facebook page and share your ideas.
